The Jbala People of Northern Morocco

Raïd Laab is a talented Moroccan photographer, native of Tangier. He recently accompanied a medical caravan in the village Had El Gharbia, in the South of Tangier. The locals are called Jbala, originally inhabitants of North Morocco mountains, which migrated to plains to cultivate them. This population lives on agriculture, breeding, has low incomes and cannot often move to the city : so it is with joy that it welcomes this medical aid.
