Mushroom Photography

Mushroom Photography

Photography is one of those arts that lie in the border of technology and art in the sense that it is not possible to do without the right techniques and the right equipment but also needs creativity and composition. In any case, the field of photography offers such a huge scope that it is possible to dive into this as a hobby or as profession and not be able to cover everything that you want to capture in your lens even if you dedicate your lifetime to it. The fact is that photography can encompass something as huge as ravishing rainbow photography for that rare and picturesque look. In this article, however, we are going to be looking at photography from the other end of the spectrum, which is that of capturing mushrooms. We are sure most of you must have encountered the mushroom in your culinary experiences if not as an object of art in your lives. This means that you must be aware that it comes in many sizes, colors and shapes.

Awesome Surreal Mind-Bending Photos

When you look at these photographs, it looks like these came from some science-fiction movie. But no, these are the creation of Turkish artist Aydin Büyüktas as part of a series titled "Flatland". These skewed photographic landscapes are created by digitally stitching multiple aerial drone photographs.
You can find more of his work on Facebook and Instagram.
With this the year 2018 ends (a tiring year) and 2019 begins, we wish all our readers a 'Happy New Year - 2019'.

I Photograph Dogs From Underneath

I Photograph Dogs From Underneath

I am presenting the Under-dogs project.

Under-cats, Under-rabbits and Under-horse projects are the projects that had been published before. Pets photographed from the underneath on a black background somehow have become my signature artwork.

This time it is dog lovers’ turn! The actual project was photographed a year ago. However, we were patiently waiting until now as we wanted to present the results along with the publication of Under-dogs book.

This project is most comparable with the Under-Cats. Cats were very cute but dogs are more playful. Dogs are more obedient which helps us to create more interesting shots. While some dogs were playful on the ground they have completely changed on the glass and stood still like a rock. Others weren’t afraid of standing above which was easy and fun to work with. I learned two main things from these photo shoots. First, cats think they are gods, since people feed, love and give them homes. Secondly, dogs see human as a god as they feed, love and give them homes. Probably you had to read that twice.
For the Under-dogs project I have designed a specially manufactured glass table in order to photograph bigger dogs. After capturing Under-dogs, I decided to go full-time on the following projects of Underlook. In our future plans - Tigers.
Today I am also presenting a release of my second book with dogs. Books can be bought on Amazon and it is shipped worldwide. You can also see a backstage video on my Youtube channel.

I Photographed The Invisible Light That Plants Emit

I Photographed The Invisible Light That Plants Emit

I've photographed hundreds of glowing flowers since 2014 after seeing Oleksandr Holovachov's work with ultraviolet-induced visible fluorescence (UVIVF) photography.

Each time I do a set of UVIVF photos, it starts with going out under the cover of darkness to snatch unsuspecting flowers growing around the neighborhood. I rarely know what to expect from a flower before I get it back to shoot. Some I think will dazzle end up flopping, and others I am surprised by their colors or light. Every one is a surprise!

In the same way a tee-shirt blue glows under a black light, most organic material glows at least a little with UV stimulation and in all kinds of colors. To make the most of it, I make sure I'm working in the darkest environment I can and use a 365nm light so the camera can't see the UV light.

Any time the flowers are hit by sunlight, they're letting off their own glow in response and it's simply overwhelmed by the sunlight we can see. These photos capture something we always see, but never can observe.

The Pigeons Who Took Photos

The Pigeons Who Took Photos
At the turn of the last century, when aviation was still in its infancy, a German named Julius Neubronner submitted a patent for a new invention—a miniature camera that could be strapped to the breast of a pigeon so that the bird could take flight and snap pictures from the air.
Julius Neubronner was an apothecary who employed pigeons to deliver medications to a sanatorium located near his hometown Kronberg, near Frankfurt. An apothecary is one who makes medicines. A pharmacist is a more modern word, but in many German speaking countries, such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland, pharmacies are still called apothecaries.

Ocean Wave Photography

Ocean Wave Photography

There is nothing more joyful for a photography aficionado to be behind the lens looking at the world from a different perspective and clicking away to create images that are eternal. The fact is that many artists who paint or sculpt may see photography as a not so serious art, but it still requires a lot of skill and talent to be able to visualize how a shot should look and getting it to come out like that. There is definitely more to photography than just pointing and clicking. It goes without saying that the end results will not only depend on the skill of the photographer but also the subject that is being clicked. Take for instance, ocean wave photography – it offers so many photo opportunities that a lifetime may not be enough to click all the pictures you want to. As you may be aware, each type of photography has its own charms and even specific techniques and it all comes down to what moves you when it comes to the kind of things that you like to capture in your lens. For some it may be the thrill of dazzling and delightful double exposure photography while for others it could be something more like refreshing, fascinating and pretty fish photography.

Handsome Animals Who Are Always Ready to Pose for the Camera

Handsome Animals Who Are Always Ready to Pose for the Camera

Until recently, it was thought that animals couldn’t smile and that their expressions were no more than reflexes moving their facial muscles. But several new studies, including Dr. Nicholas H. Dodman’s research, confirm that animals are expressing happiness when they smile — just like human beings. And it’s not just about happiness. Animals can also feel and express emotions like fear, sadness, anger, jealousy, and embarrassment. They’ve even got a sense of humor and the ability to laugh.
 That is wildlife photography

That is wildlife photography

While photography has become my primary language, animal whispering has evolved as a tool to communicate the unique sincerity emerging from a wild animal’s eye. Beyond the Art, wildlife photography allows me to seek the uniqueness in things while engaging with nature in a unique way. When meeting wild animals, I always feel gifted to be able to capture such sincere moments as it makes me feel instantly at peace.

Besides this bond with nature, I enjoy the challenge that is wildlife photography. As there are numerous things you have to deal with when you’re shooting a moving animal, finally getting the perfect shot makes for an unspeakable feeling of satisfaction.

A question I often get is how do you get the birds to land on your hand without food? Although I always wanted to reply saying that I am the real Snow White, every photo session simply starts with bird seeds and a whole lot of patience. However, my goal here isn’t to photograph birds eating out of my hand. The challenge is to create something unique. With persistence, I slowly gain the animal’s trust and it eventually comes to me without food. That’s when the real deal starts. There’s my chance to capture the unique connection to nature! As wildlife photography is all about opportunity, patience is key.
I often say that our lives are made of a collection of high-speed photographs and the photographer’s task is to hunt within this collection and make the perfect moment standout. As wildlife photography is about firing off thousands of shots just to get one keeper, the goal for me is to seek for emotions. When I scroll through hundreds of photos I am looking for the one shot that will communicate a specific feeling.
As we are all aware, light is a crucial component of photography. It has the capacity to turn a photo into a story. Photography is all about planning and pre-visualization. I am constantly looking to create images rather than take photos. Creating images requires both knowledge on technical aspects and on the subject itself. Therefore, while photography is an ultimate creative tool to create stories I use light to create connections between man and nature.
Besides my passion for photography and for animals, the other factor that keeps me doing what I do is the bond with nature. I could not live without this feeling you get when you immerse yourself in the outdoors and become part of it.

Artist Travels To Stunning Locations Only To Paint The Pattern Of His Shirt

Artist Travels To Stunning Locations Only To Paint The Pattern Of His Shirt

Sometimes it's really hard to understand and experience art, so one creative duo decided to make fun out of it. Artist Hank Schmidt in der Beek and photographer Fabian Schubert have been working on a project, called Und im Sommer tu ich malen (which translates "And in the Summer I do paint") which combines photography and painting, and is not only well executed but hilarious as well.

The idea behind the project is for the duo to visit scenic locations where famous artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, or Paul Cezanne painted their works. However, instead of replicating their proud works, Hank paints the pattern of his shirt. Their project combines conceptual and concrete art as well as plein air and portrait painting.
Everything began when the two of them met on a mountain hike. "He was with his medium format camera to take some photographs, me with some canvases and an easel to make some paintings," Hank says. The results of their humorous adventures around Europe are an appreciation of the joy of creating art, but an acknowledgment that sometimes it's simply pretentious as well.
