Dazzling And Delightful Double Exposure Photography

Dazzling And Delightful Double Exposure Photography

When it comes to the photography, we are not in wrong in thinking that it is the simple but interesting capture of an image of what you see in front of you through the lenses of your camera. But then it becomes even more complicated when you see it as an art form as the composition, the light and the shadows as well as the way you capture it takes it to another level. But then you would still not be wrong when you think of the art of photography as something that captures one scene or person in front of you but this article will shake that belief of yours. In this article, we are going to be looking at double exposure photography, which to put in simplistic terms is the photographing of two different images in one click with the use of an interesting technique. It takes some doing and can result in very unique photos that will leave you and others dazzled. Using the double exposure photography techniques, you can take the joyful simple things in life photography ideas to another level.

There are sensational and soothing scenic road photography examples that can be taken to surreal level using the double exposure techniques. If you see the images we have given alongside this article, you will notice that at first glance that most of the images look incredibly unbelievable but on further observation you will realize that most of the pictures are of simple things but the overlap of two images tends to create a sensational effect that leaves you astounded. It is like cute and often contradictory cat photography, which while on the surface is a simple clicking and capturing of images of the feline in various poses but on a deeper look gives you an insight into the mind of a feline which is anything but simple.

If somebody were to force us to define double exposure photography, we would say that it is a thinking person’s photography because there is no doubt that a lot of thought has gone into the clicking of these images. How else is it possible that the simple image of a lovely woman with flowing hair is made to look like flowers are flowing from her head and that too without any Photoshop? Often times you will see that the trick that many photographs use to capture such images is to have the subject stand in front of clear glass. The image of the person would be captured from the other side of the glass so that the person’s visage as well as the images reflecting on the clear glass would be captured creating a lot of interest and intrigue.

Though in this theory, this sounds simple enough, it is anything but because there is a good chance that while you are capturing a double exposure image, your reflection could also fall on the clear glass and mar it or at least change it. Just think about it – how often have you travelled by train or bus on the window seat and looked out and seen your reflection super imposed on the scenery that is rushing by? We are sure that you have come across the image that we have described above and if you want a definition of double exposure in very basic terms, this is what it comes down to.

Finding The Best Zelda Game Ever

Finding The Best Zelda Game Ever

No, no, no, let’s be just a little bit fair about all of this. It’s not as easy of a call as we might be tempted to say. We all know that, subjectively and objectively, there’s one particular title that popped in our heads the moment we read this title. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give the rest of the titles a chance. The best Zelda game, just like “the best any kind of game,” is a crossroad of factors and influences.

40 Lovely Beatles Artworks To Appreciate

40 Lovely Beatles Artworks To Appreciate

When it comes to discussions around art, people often think it is limited to the visual arts, which is not completely correct. While visual arts are an important part of the world of art, you also have to consider the performing arts like music, drama, ballet, different forms of dance, etc. If you are music fan, specifically a fan of the Beatles, you will love this article and adore what it has to say. And we are assuming that even if you are not a big Beatles fan, you may have heard about them and would enjoy this article from the art point of view. Since this article combines the popular music band Beatles and visual art, it could prove to be a double bonus for those who are fans of both. It would be akin to a fan of country music and a love of words coming across cute country music quotes.

We Portray People’s Dreams And Thoughts In Surreal Portraits

We Portray People’s Dreams And Thoughts In Surreal Portraits

We wanted to combine our strengths, both in photography and photo editing, to go beyond the flat reality of portraits and rather show a glimpse of the rich inner selves of our subjects. A way to show that behind our masks, we are complex and have dreams.

The idea emerged from the very elaborate Renaissance hairdos. We wanted to spark universal emotions through our subjects while keeping a poetic yet modern image. The project presents nine portraits, nine subjects, each dwelling in their own imaginary landscapes, much larger than their individual reality.

This series wouldn’t have been possible without: Anaïs Faubert (concept and photography), Geneviève Bellehumeur (concept and photo editing), Marie Ossa from the salon “Bar à Couleur” (hair), and Kristina Pileggi (MUA).

Even the greatest among us had humble beginnings. This is just as true for websites, however, as it is for people. Even online giants like Amazon, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter were once itty-bitty websites with monochrome homepages, poorly-thought-out logos and boring or stark turn-of-the-century designs. Mashable, which collected the old homepages from the Wayback Machine, even included their own site on the list. Check out these images to see how the internet greats looked in their infancy.

Afros Turned Into Flowery Galaxies To Make Black Women Proud Of TheirAfrican Heritage

Pierre Jean-Louis, a visual artist from US, creates mesmerizing portraits of black women by transforming their hair into flowery galaxies. By turning their Afros into works of art in his series, “Black Girl Magic,” Jean-Louis wants to inspire black women to embrace their African heritage.

“I started creating these beautiful pictures last year around September when I started following some amazing accounts on Instagram [which have] nothing but beautiful black queens rocking their natural hair,” Jean-Louis told The Huffington Post. “I was amazed to see how so many black women are finally letting go of their insecurities and accept themselves for who they are.

“I want the whole world to know that Mother Nature is actually black and we wouldn’t be here without her. I want every young black queen to remember that.”
