Japanese Mom Bakes Awesome Bread Inspired By Her Kid’s Drawings And Nature

This bread will definitely make you re-think the whole no carbs diet thing. Tokyo-based baker under the name of Konel Bread hides beautiful art inside loaves of bread. Inspired by her son's drawings and nature designs, you can find everything from flowers to fruit to her son's drawings inside the loaves of bread. The best part? These artistic masterpieces are made with natural flavours and colors, such as spinach, cocoa, and beetroot.

It's not completely clear how she makes this artistic bread, but it's something like rolling deco-sushi - long pieces of colored dough are carefully positioned and then rolled into a round loaf. But let's not forget that the dough eventually puffs up into larger shapes as it bakes, so the baker needs to plan ahead for the way the dough expands. Bread has never been so charming!

Japanese Photographer Documents The Many Faces of Tokyo’s Stray Cats (10+ Pics)

With his pictures, Japanese photographer Masayuki Oki captures the individual personalities of the many otherwise anonymous stray cats that live in Tokyo's shitamachi area. His collection might be called busayan, which literally means "ugly cat", but the photographer has nothing but affection for his moggie muses.

“I want to travel the country photographing all of Japan’s lovely stray cats,” says the photographer. For now however he limits his setting to the shitamachi area of the capital, where he documents the streetwise cats as they fight, nap, and goof around for the camera. The photographer never reveals the exact location of his feline photoshoot, but if you want to keep up to date with his latest photographic exploits then you can add your name to the 48,000+ people who follow him on Instagram.
